Students who successfully finish the Department of Turkish Language and Literature's four-year undergraduate program and enroll in Pedagogical Formation courses after graduation are eligible to become teachers in both public and private schools that are connected to the Ministry of National Education.
Graduates can also pursue their master's and doctoral programs at academic institutions and find employment as lecturers or Turkish language instructors in organizations under the YÖK.
Additionally, graduates from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature can find employment in a variety of cultural industries by combining their personal interests with the skills they have learned in the department. These industries include book-journal publishing, editorial, journalism, radio, television, and internet publishing, copywriting in written and visual media, and writing films for television shows and movies.
